Why do I need a Race Licence to participate at TriAthy? Resolved
- TriAthy is a Triathlon Ireland sanctioned event which means that this event subscribes to the standards expected for triathlon racing by the Irish National Governing Body for the sport.
- Obtaining this sanction also means that TriAthy participants must hold a "Race Licence" in order to take part for insurance purposes.
- When entering the TriAthy event, all participants are informed of this requirement and must confirm their agreement to the following statement as they enter : "I understand that TriAthy is a Triathlon Ireland sanctioned event and that as such I will require a valid Race Licence in order to participate."
- PLEASE NOTE: NO RACE LICENCE MEANS NO RACE - so please play close attention to this requirement to avoid disappointment on race day.
