TriAthy is a Triathlon Ireland sanctioned event which means that this event subscribes to the standards expected for triathlon racing by the Irish National Governing Body for the sport.
Obtaining this sanction also means that TriAthy participants must hold a "Race Licence" in order to take part for insurance purposes.
When entering the TriAthy event, all participants are informed of this requirement and must confirm their agreement to the following statement as they enter : "I understand that TriAthy is a Triathlon Ireland sanctioned event and that as such I will require a valid Race Licence in order to participate."
PLEASE NOTE: NO RACE LICENCE MEANS NO RACE - so please play close attention to this requirement to avoid disappointment on race day.
