- Yes of course. We welcome all to cheer on their friends and loved ones taking on TriAthy.
- The triathlon finish is close to the Athy Community Library and there is plenty of space for family and friends to spot triathletes as they cross the finish line.
- Please allow a few minutes for finishers to cross the line, collect their well-earned medal, grab some refreshment and then exit the finishing pen.

Are there water stations on the run course?
Yes, there will be numerous water stations on the run course. Water will be available in cups on the course…
- Yes, there will be numerous water stations on the run course.
- Water will be available in cups on the course and in bottles at the finish line.
- Please try to use the bins provided once you’ve finished your drink!
- Only drop litter in the designated zones!!
- The finalised online route maps will highlight the locations of the water stations.
Where is the run course for my race?
The run course for each TriAthy race runs to the south of Athy along the R417 road. The run course…
- The run course for each TriAthy race runs to the south of Athy along the R417 road.
- The run course then joins the River Barrow towpath for a picturesque return to the town to complete a lap.
- Some TriAthy races require participants to run more than one lap. Competitors should understand their run route in advance.
